Preferentially a postdoc with experimental experience in mitochondrial physiology and high-resolution respirometry – applications are welcome from the Oroboros O2k-Network

In the heart of Innsbruck is the Oroboros O2k-Laboratory with the newest O2k-MultiSensor Modules and the NextGen-O2k configuration available for research and biomedical applications, providing the basis of high-output in high-resolution respirometry. This could be your new place of work as an Oroboros Postdoc, where you would join a scientifically oriented team. Innovations, reliability, and customer relations (scientist to scientist communication) are our top priorities.

Questions to ask yourself before applying:

  1. Are you highly skilled in the science of mitochondrial physiology?
  2. Is scientific and personal integrity of upmost importance to you?
  3. Do you feel confident preparing scientific manuscripts for peer-review and publication?
  4. Could you clearly explain what high-resolution respirometry is to your neighbor?
  5. Do you have experience collaborating with other scientists in large projects?
  6. Do the phrases “pays attention to detail” and “very organized” describe your working method?
