Oxygraph-2k Series D - New Features
In the new Oxygraph-2k (Series D), the O2k-MultiSensor System upgrade includes not only two additional pX channels (potentiometric, for pH, TPP+, Ca2+ and other ion selective electrodes) but integrates two additional amperometric channels (for NO, H2S, ..).
The amperometric channels (two for O2, and the two new cannels for NO) have variable polarization voltage (controlled by DatLab). The two pX channles are now equipped with variable amplification (new: controlled by DatLab).
The limitation for simultaneous recording of multiple different signals is the stopper. Our PVDF stoppers are custom-made according to all possible configurations.

DatLab and Feedback Control of the TIP2k
The DatLab software is fully upgraded to monitor simultaneously the 6 channels (two amperometric oxygen, two pX, two additional amperometric channels for NO), and the barometric pressure, temperature and Peltier power.
The oxystat system is complete with upgrading of the O2k by the TIP2k. The DatLab software fully supports oxystat control in various modes. This development is finished, and the new features of TIP control are wonderful - not only for oxystat applications, but routinely for TIP2k feedback control for automatic instrumental background tests.

TPP+ and pH electrodes
A first series of 40 TPP+ electrodes is in production (like in polarographic oxygen sensors, membranes can be exchanged, electrolyte replaced, etc.), and our tests are proceeding now with isolated mitochondria and permeabilized cells.
pH is well established, although we had to change from our previous Beckman electrode to a new model, since the old one is not produced any longer. The pH combination electrode is glued into the stopper, which is related to the variability of the diameter of the glass shaft of the electrodes.
