Low O2k-Running Costs
- Annual running costs for O2k-spares
- Annual costs for spares is less than € 1,000 based on long-term experience with the Oxygraph-2k base unit (e.g. sealing rings, spare sensor, spare glass chamber).
- In MultiSensor applications, spare sensors (e.g. glass pH electrode) may increase the costs by € 700 to € 1,400 per year.
- POS membranes: A membrane replacement is not required over periods of several months. The cost for new membranes and electrolyte, therefore, is less than € 10 per year.
- Media: Calculate 3 ml per run per chamber, e.g. MiR06.
- Chemicals: Substrates, uncouplers, inhibitors, specific effectors.
- Washing with deionized or distilled water, with pure ethanol (removing inhibitors) and 70 % ethanol.
- MultiSensor applications: Calibration solutions.
