Travel information - Arrival - Departure
From the airport (Zurich, Munich, Friedrichshafen) you can get to Bregenz by train, where we will meet at the main station for the joint bus trip to Schröcken:
- For catching our bus from Bregenz to Schröcken (c. 1 h and 15 min), please plan your arrivals in Bregenz not later than 3 pm.
- In case of delays or late changes, please call OROBOROS INSTRUMENTS (Mobile T Anita +43 664 5512285 or Erich +43 664 3858714).
- Meeting point in Bregenz is the main parking lot (in front of the escalator), where our bus "Ritter Tours" will be at 3 pm.
- Please, plan your Departure from Bregenz not earlier than 12 am (for joint transfer from Schröcken to Bregenz). Let us know in advance if an earlier departure time will be necessary.
Access to Hotel Körbersee
All luggage is transported for you to Hotel Körbersee cable car. Luggage can be left at the base of the cable car close to the church of Schröcken.
For our group, we will organize transfer to hotel Körbersee in the snow cat (10-12 persons). A snow mobile (1-3 persons) is available at an extra charge. In any case, you can expect a unique experience upon arrival.
Hotel Körbersee is not accessible by car. In winter, guests can take the Salober skiing lift and ski along an easy route directly to the hotel. Alternatively, an easy footpath is well maintained and provides access to the hotel in a 40 min walk. Good hiking boots are required, for protection against wet snow and against cold.
Information on train connections to and from Bregenz Mainstation
- From and to Zurich airport (international/intercontinental) trains take about 2 hours.
- From and to Munic airport (international/intercontinental) trains take 3 to 4 hours. Take the S8-train from Munich airport to Munich Main train station.
- Trains and buses from and to Friedrichshafen airport (European) take about 1 hour.
